What are schedules in the Monqi parent app?
Schedules are timed restrictions. They are used to prohibit chosen applications and phone usage during a set time interval on specific days of the week.
How do I use schedules?
Daytime
The Day section will allow you to create schedules to restrict phone access during daylight hours. Day schedules do not work past midnight. This is ideal for school and other recurring weekly events, such as sports practices. You can restrict individual applications, texting, and phone calls.
When you restrict SMS, your child will be able to send and receive messages through Monqi to caretakers.
While you're setting up your schedule, restrictions are left blank until changed - this means the schedule will not restrict any apps, texting, or calls until you toggle the slider to the Off state.
You must tap SAVE to keep your changes. Tapping save will immediately enforce the schedule if the time of day falls into the interval.
There is no limit to the number of Day schedules you can make. You can easily toggle the enforcement of schedules by tapping the slider next to your schedule name in the Day menu.
Nighttime
Night schedules are found to the right of the Day tab. These tabs allow you to set restrictions past midnight for Weekday and Weekend schedules. The process for adjusting the interval, restricting apps, and enforcing the schedule is the same as with Day schedules.
